- AF – Autofocus. Autofocus became commercially viable around 1988 with the introduction of the Nikon 8008. (What was the equivalent Canon?) There was just one auto focus sensor and it could read horizontal lines very well so we would often turn the camera at a slight angle to get the camera to focus properly.
- DSLR – Digital Single Lens Reflex
- Mirrorless – An interchangeable lens camera that doesn’t have a mirror. An odd name, but the industry seems to have standardized on this.
