Lovelock, Nevada. Nothing there but McDonald’s and a convenience store.
Elko, Nevada. Tesla navigation takes you to the wrong address!!!!! I drove around and still couldn’t find it. Called Tesla and wait time was 30 minutes so I gave up.
The best solution is to stay at an RV park. Stayed at an RV Park and charged up on their 50 amp plug there for $25 including shower and campsite. This is the most economical way to get around.
Don’t panic if you can’t find the supercharger station, there are alternatives.
You can drive further than a gas car since charging takes about 50 minutes and in that time you stretch, yoga, eat, restroom break, and then get back in the car. These breaks really help.
